Chokering AT1675-120

AT1675-120 Choke ring antenna is known for very smooth, with minimal ripple, amplitude and phase pattern. Therefore, provide excellent ability to reject multipath signal from source. The path uses to take signal from source to receiver can be use for to measure the distance between the two. In a GPS ground based receiver, a choke ring antenna can provide millimeter precision measurements for surveying and geological measurement applications. Surveyors use absolute locations to make maps and determine property boundaries. Our choke ring uses four concentric cylinders around a central antenna and manufacture with AS9100 compliant. .

Chokering Ashtech

Chokering AstechAshtech Choke Ring Antenna with Dorne & Margolin C146-10 vertical dipole element.

The choke ring antenna from Ashtech/Thales Navigation is machined from a single billet of 6061-T6 aluminum. This choke ring antenna retains the original IGS (International GPS Service) design yet provides many new features for enhanced performance and added reliability. The choke ring includes a Dorne & Margolin C146-10 vertical dipole element. The Thales choke ring antenna provides proven technology and reliability and is the standard for high-end applications in reference station operation.

The choke ring antenna consists of a ground plate with five concentric ring structures, a Dorne & Margolin C146-10 vertical dipole element and a proprietary low-noise amplifier (LNA), which includes RF filtering for excellent out-of-band interference rejection. The choke ring design reduces multipath effects and improves substantially the quality of the incoming GPS signals.
