Septentrio APS-U

The APS-U provides multi-frequency GNSS capability together with GNSS Heading, L-Band positioning and wireless communications within a rugged MIL-STD-810 housing for the broadest range of applications.

Peer to Peer Functionality

Every Rajant BreadCrumb can hold multiple simultaneous connections, over multiple frequencies, with other nodes in the mesh, eliminating the need for a controller node while adding network reliability.

Self Optimizing and Healing

Rajant’s proprietary protocol, InstaMesh, enables the nodes to adapt in real-time to quickly or constantly moving network elements. No connections have to be broken for new ones to be made, providing resilient mobility.

Seamless Scalability

If new BreadCrumbs are added to a network, they automatically begin meshing with neighbouring nodes, further strengthening the network and increasing capacity by providing additional paths to send traffic.

For maximum flexibility, the design is scalable from a single GNSS receiver to full options with Heading, wireless links and TERRASTAR L-Band positioning.

The APS-U has an additional processor for on-board configuration and custom applications separate from the GNSS engine. The rear panel has an extensive suite of interfaces for data output, timing, event marks, and a second antenna port for GNSS Heading.
