Unlike other commercial shallow water multibeam echosounder systems, R2Sonic’s sonar processing is embedded in the receiver, dramatically increasing system efficiency and simplicity in integration.
The compact size, low weight, low power consumption and elimination of separate topside processors makes the SONIC 2026 system well suited for small survey vessel or ROV/AUV operations.
Basic mounting hardware is supplied as standard with each system, including dual head mounting brackets.
