The Sonic™-V Series represents the latest generation of wideband multibeam echosounder systems, combining elegant simplicity with cutting-edge technology to deliver exceptional performance across diverse hydrographic applications. These technologically advanced systems feature the compact VOX-IM unit with serial connectors for motion reference, GNSS time messages, and sound velocity probes, plus wide-range AC/DC voltage input capability for versatile deployment options.
At the heart of each system is the innovative VOX Control user interface, featuring a fresh, modern design that provides agile, intuitive operation. The improved logic and layout of advanced settings, combined with configurable hotkeys, language translations, and integrated help features, ensures efficient workflow management for operators of all experience levels.
The series delivers Ultra High Density (UHD) mapping capabilities with up to 1024 true soundings per ping, significantly improving data density across the survey swath for comprehensive seabed coverage. Technical modes can be upgraded remotely at any time, including 700kHz Ultra High Resolution (UHR) available across all systems, TruePix® multispectral backscatter with compressed water column data, and switchable forward-looking sonar (FLS) functionality.
