The Tallysman TW162A Smart Power GNSS Splitter is a high-reliability solution designed for autonomous and automotive vehicle applications, where continuous GNSS availability is critical. Built with AEC-Q100-certified components, the TW162A is engineered to operate under extreme temperature conditions and demanding automotive environments.

This splitter offers two key features for enhanced fault tolerance. First, it accepts power from all connected GNSS receivers and prioritizes Port #1 if its voltage is within the 3.0 – 12.5 VDC range. If Port #1 is disconnected or its voltage falls outside the specified range, the splitter automatically switches to the next available port in numerical order, providing deterministic, uninterrupted operation. Second, if the antenna fails and draws no current, the TW162A signals a fault by limiting current draw to less than 1 mA on all connectors, while continuing to supply other receivers.

The TW162A delivers best-in-class noise figure, isolation, and linearity and is housed in a robust, compact, lightweight aluminum enclosure. It is available with FAKRA connectors (3x Z or A+B+C) and provides standard gain to compensate for signal-splitting loss, ensuring reliable GNSS signal distribution in harsh automotive environments.
