The Astra Evolution E6-BSIL is a professional 5-6 GHz outdoor base station sector designed for small-scale subscriber deployments. It features an integrated 16 dBi dual-polarized antenna with a 90x8 degree sector pattern, providing reliable coverage for up to five subscriber terminals over distances up to twenty kilometers.

The base station supports channel widths from ten to eighty megahertz and delivers up to seven hundred megabits per second of throughput in an eighty megahertz channel. MIMO 2x2 and OFDM technologies enable efficient spectrum use and stable link performance even in dense environments.

Advanced radio features include automatic bitrate and transmit power control, dynamic distance learning, and configurable uplink and downlink ratios. Built-in spectrum analyzer and antenna alignment tools facilitate installation and optimization, while DFS and radar detection ensure uninterrupted operation in shared spectrum conditions.

Networking capabilities include Ethernet-over-IP and IP-over-IP tunnels, multipool NAT with H.323 support, VLAN and QoS management, and integration with Astra’s proprietary MINT protocol. Voice-aware traffic handling ensures low latency for real-time applications.

The unit provides a single Gigabit Ethernet interface and supports multiple power options, including AC, DC, and PoE. Management is available via web interface, SNMP, SSH, and Astra EMS NEXT for centralized monitoring and software updates.

Encased in a rugged, weatherproof IP66 and IP67-rated enclosure, the Evolution E6-BSIL ensures reliable operation under outdoor conditions and wide temperature ranges.
