The TW164 overcomes this limitation with a Smart Power design that accepts power from all attached receivers. Port #1 is prioritized if its voltage is within the specified range, and the splitter automatically switches to the next available port if necessary, ensuring deterministic, uninterrupted operation. In the event of an antenna failure, the device limits current draw to less than 2 mA, signaling a fault while maintaining operation for other connected receivers.
